I got a steak and rice bowl and it was amazing steak was perfect and all the ingredients were so fresh. The staff was so welcoming and happy. My friend got a ground beef burrito and it was bigger then her but she greatly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

Updated : ANTS, ANTS, ANTS! I went in and found multiple ants crawling around the condiments section. The waiter apologized, cleaned it up, and said he would let the manager know. WEEKS later, I gave them a second try. I got my food on a tray, looked down, and there it was ON MY TRAY OF FOOD. Another ant! I got a refund and will never go back.
This is a decent burrito place with fresh food. My only problem is that they consistently have inconsistent spicing on their food. About 50% of my takeout orders are spicy and the other half are not. And, I get the SAME thing every time! My stomach can't handle spice, so I instantly know if this is the day I'm going to throw out my meal or eat it. Today was a throw away day. I'm done with them for now. FYI, I get a chicken burrito with Guacamole, Cilantro, mixed veggies, Spanish rice and lettuce. Every.single.time. No exceptions. I wish they were more con -

This area does not contain many authentic Mexican restaurants, sure if you count drab Acapulco's across street or worse Taco Bell a mile a way, but this place which took over the old Friendly's restaurant in Franklin, is the real deal. They make some pretty tasty tacos, burritos and various bowls which are made to order and are delicious. The prices are reasonable here and I would think this place probably caters to nearby Dean College due to proximity. You can even order online here and have it ready for pickup. Staff is very nice and it is quick and easy.

Initially I was hesitant to come to this restaurant as I wasn't really sure what to expect. It turned out to be nicer than what I imagined it to be. Has similar layout and feel to another big chain Mexican restaurant. The restaurant itself hasn't been there that long. It's quite clean on the inside with lots of seating. There are several booths which is nice as well as some free standing tables and chairs. It's nicely decorated and very colorful.
There are two entrances and exits. It's one of those places that you order as you go down the line and tell them what do you want in your burrito or bowl and pay at the end. What's cool about the place is they actually have alcohol, you can buy beers and margaritas even thought it's not the type of restaurant that there are waiters to serve you. You order everything you want at the counter and choose your own seating and take your food to your table. You also have to put away your items once done eating. There's one trash can that you can throw away the trash but do not throw away the red plastic containers or the trays...the sign there will tell you that as well.
I ordered a bowl and it was actually quite tasty. They also have dessert...flan. -

Great food! It is a family run restaurant and the food is delicious. Very fresh! Basically you build your own everything... tacos, nachos, burritos, salads. Grew up in franklin- wish sante fe was around back then.... don't get me wrong- loved friendly's but this is an awesome alternative for fast fresh food.
